Rules:
- Shoot your doc in 24 consecutive hours (an extra 1-2 hours on a separate day is permitted for pick-up shots only)
- Must be an AOD member who submits as the Director
- Crew members can be from outside AOD, but working with fellow AOD members is recommended.
- Use any camera (even an iPhone can work)
- Duration must be between 2-8 mins
- English subtitles required for non-English films
- Has to be new work (not previously filmed)
- Archival footage is allowed, as long as it was provided to you by your character, and is genuine and relevant to your character’s past.
- No stock footage may be used
- Submit the film as a Vimeo/Youtube link (with no passwords/unlisted link)
- Films must be submitted by the specified deadline, and ownership rights must be secured for both the film and its music. No exceptions are allowed.
