Art of Documentary is an online film academy of over 5000+ filmmakers from around the world who are passionate about telling untold stories and building profitable film careers. When a filmmaker joins any of the AOD courses, they not only get access to dozens of hours of focused and practical teaching videos that can be watched at leisure, but they receive lifetime access to our private and highly active global Facebook group where job postings, work collabs, and rough cut reviews are posted daily. AOD members also get access to our exclusive monthly industry calls where we bring in experts from around the industry to teach and do Q&A live on Zoom.

No. Accounts are not shareable and will need to be purchased per user. Each user will also have individual access to our private FB community.

We strongly discourage sharing an account with other users since our platform will flag/block out users who are accessing from multiple locations or displaying suspicious activity.

AOD content is viewable online, 24/7 with lifetime access to hours of focused and practical teaching videos that can be watched at your pace.

AOD course content can be viewed by logging in with your account through the AOD Kajabi Portal

Once you’ve purchased your course, an email will be sent directly to you with your login information. If you’ve already purchased an AOD course in the past, your login details remain the same.

All course content is pre-recorded so you have access anytime, anywhere with internet connection. Our live, online monthly industry calls for the community are held on the first Wednesday of each month at 12 PM ET. Throughout the year, you will also be notified of special in-person events and big announcements.

For our Monthly Industry Calls (available to all AOD Modules), we bring in experts from within the industry to teach and do Q&As live on Zoom. They typically occur on the 1st Wednesday of each month at 12 PM ET. We record all calls so if you miss one, you’ll find it within your course library.

All you need is access to a computer + internet access to participate as an AOD member. You are not required to purchase any camera gear.

Offline viewing is not available and content is viewable only through an internet connection.

No. We do not offer refunds due to the nature of this being a digital product and because we share the outline of all the course content before purchase.

If you would like to receive a certificate of completion for your course, there are assignments and projects required for completion.

Yes! For teams with 5 or more users, we offer a multi-user discount of 25%. You will need to purchase an account for each member of your group, this will be helpful when tracking individual progress.To redeem, please contact us at info@aodfilm.com.

  Exclusive to Module 2 users, members who are looking for direct feedback on their work or career advice can drop by during our Feedback Hours! Calls are held through Zoom, with appointments made by booking slots. Members will have 10 mins to discuss their inquiries with Mike, so come ready with concise questions. This call is open to all Module 2 members, who can drop in and listen even if they do not have an appointment. Calls are held bi-weekly at different times to ensure accessibility to our international members in other time zones.
